CUNY LGBT Leadership Council, Congressional Award Foundation

Mitchell Draizin (he/him) was the founder/President of Longview Capital Advisors (LVCA) which acted as a real estate investment and mortgage banking entity.  He has and is currently serving on various nonprofits boards and advisory committees to include the Congressional Award Foundation, Point Foundation, The New Leaders Council, The New York City Economic Development Corporation and the Williams Institute. Mitchell developed and sponsors a series of LGBT Leadership, Internship and support programs at the City University of New York (CUNY) where he created and serves as President of the CUNY LGBT Advisory Council.

In addition, he has created and volunteer teaches a Financial Empowerment Course for the CUNY high schools through its Adult Continuing Ed programs. Mitchell’s LGBT advocacy includes his co-founding the LGBT Council of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and a founding member of the Congressional LGBT Equality PAC.

Mitchell and his husband, Philippe Brugere-Trelat have been together for over four decades and in 2011 were married in NYC.
