Mistral Myers
Mistral Myers (she/her) is an Executive Communications Manager at Google, where she leads internal diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) communications and community outreach for C-Suite leaders. A long time equity advocate, she led Google’s LGBTQ+ employee resource group for more than 6 years, and is a frequent speaker inside and outside of Google on issues of DEI, belonging, allyship, and LGBTQ+ rights.
In addition to her role on the Board of The American LGBTQ+ Museum, she serves as a council member for The City University of New York (CUNY) LGBTQI Student Leadership Program. Mistral previously led Talks at Google (Google’s external speaker series), and managed operations in two of Google’s internet technology incubators. Prior to her work in tech, Mistral worked in the global health and public policy fields, including with Massachusetts General Hospital’s HIV vaccine research lab, and in legislative affairs with the Massachusetts House of Representatives.
Mistral holds a Bachelor’s in International Relations from Simmons College, and a Master’s degree in Gender, Development, and Globalization from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
