Dominic Ramos-Ruiz

Founder, Citizenry

Dominic is the founder of Citizenry, a civic engagement platform that helps people discover meaningful ways to get involved in their communities—connecting them to local organizations, causes, and cultural life.

Before launching Citizenry, Dominic served as U.S. Head of The Conduit, a global community and network of clubhouses for purpose-driven leaders and investors. He previously worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on the community development and impact investing team, where he bridged finance and social entrepreneurship to support low-income communities. As co-chair of the NY Fed President’s Advisory Council, he convened civic and business leaders to inform monetary policy.

Trained as an urban planner, Dominic has built a multidisciplinary career spanning real estate, sustainability, and social impact. He has led initiatives to advance healthier, more productive communities—partnering with global institutions like the UN and World Economic Forum—and has worked across sectors including policy, development, and environmental health.

Dominic serves on the boards of the Design Trust for Public Space and The Public Theater’s Joe’s Pub Council (as Co-Chair), and is a member of MoMA’s Contemporary Arts Council. An advocate for historic preservation, Dominic has also been a longtime supporter of the Palm Springs Preservation Foundation and the Municipal Art Society of New York. Outside of professional life, Dominic is an avid cyclist, snowboarder, hiker, and occasional sailor. He and his husband live in Manhattan, New York, and split their time between the U.S. and Spain.
