Preserve your stories and those of your community!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

In a StoryCorps recording, you share a meaningful, one-on-one conversation about your experiences and values. With your permission, recordings are archived at the Library of Congress. You are invited to interview someone you know well, someone you’d like to know better, or a trained facilitator.

ABOUT STORYCORPS

StoryCorps is an independent nonprofit whose mission is to preserve and share humanity’s stories in order to build connections between people and create a more just and compassionate world. Since 2003, StoryCorps has given more than 650,000 people the chance to record conversations about their lives. The StoryCorps Archive at the Library of Congress is the largest single collection of human voices ever gathered. Visit www.storycorps.org to learn more.

WHAT DO I TALK ABOUT?

These conversations are meant to be organic and unscripted. We’ve made a list of questions to inspire your conversation, but ultimately you decide what to talk about. Sample questions include: How has your LGBTQ+ identity evolved throughout your lifetime? and Where do you find queer community today?
