Short remarks will be given by American LGBTQ+ Museum Chief Development Officer Seth Rosen, Resource Center CEO Cece Cox, Deputy Legal Director of Legal Education and Public Engagement Paul D. Castillo, and Lambda Legal SCRO Regional Director Shelly L. Skeen, J.D., LL.M.

11:15 a.m.    Panel 2: The New Beginning: Lawrence v. Texas feat. Mitchell Katine (trial attorney in Lawrence v. Texas), Lee Taft (U.S. Supreme Court Legal & Education Team, Lambda Legal), and Nicholas “Guilly” Guillory (former Tyron Garner Fellow, Lambda Legal)

1:15 p.m.     Panel 3: The State of LGBTQ+ Legislation feat. Jessica González (Texas House of Representatives), Miriam Laeky (Government Affairs Director, Equality Texas), and Cece Cox (CEO, Resource Center)

2:15 p.m.    Panel 4: Civil Rights Impact Litigation Now and Into the Future feat. Lambda Legal lawyers, Paul D. Castillo (Deputy Legal Director of Legal Education and Public Engagement), Richard Saenz (Counsel, Criminal Justice and Police Misconduct Strategist), and Sasha Buchert (Counsel, Nonbinary & Trans Rights Project Director)

3:15 p.m.    Conclusion with Shelly L. Skeen, J.D., LL.M. (Regional Director), Haddi Tunkara (Regional Program Coordinator), and Hannah Garcia (Senior Major Gifts Officer)

Participants receive 4.0 hours of CLE credit and 1.0 hour of ethics credit from the State Bar of Texas for attending panels.
