We are proud to announce Queer Justice: 5o Years of Lambda Legal and LGBTQ+ Rights, the American LGBTQ+ Museum’s first traveling exhibition in collaboration with Lambda Legal.
For 50 years, Lambda Legal has been at the forefront of the fight for LGBTQ+ rights, paving the way for progress and equality. Now, the American LGBTQ+ Museum is bringing our journey to you.

The opening reception will include the panel discussion The Fight for Queer Justice: Past, Present, and Future.
Participants include Kevin Jennings (Lambda Legal CEO), Camilla Taylor (Lambda Legal Deputy Legal Director for Litigation), Owen Keehnen (writer and historian), Silas Leslie (Hire Trans Now Coordinator at Chicago Therapy Collective), Anna DeShawn (community organizer and media personality), and Ben Garcia (American LGBTQ+ Museum Executive Director), moderated by Doug Curtis (Lambda Legal Midwest Regional Director).
