Calling all Queer GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives & Museums) professionals!
Join Queer GLAM as we proudly march together at World Pride in Washington, D.C.!
This year’s parade kicks off in the vibrant Logan Circle neighborhood and makes its way down 14th Street, transforming Pennsylvania Avenue into a dazzling corridor of celebration—set against the backdrop of the iconic U.S. Capitol. Expect ornate floats, inspiring grand marshals, and a powerful showing of LGBTQ+ pride and solidarity.
Parade Start Time: 2 PM
Our GLAM step-off time will be confirmed in the coming weeks. Once we officially begin, we will march for approximately 2 hours. The parade officially ends at 8pm.
T-Shirts: Everyone marching with GLAM will receive a custom t-shirt! Please submit your size below.
Note: Once you RSVP, a shirt will be purchased for you.
T-Shirt Pickup: Details on pickup location and time will be shared via email closer to the march date.
Sign Guidelines: Large banners are not permitted. Handheld signs are welcome—please keep them no larger than a standard poster board.
About the American LGBTQ+ Museum
The American LGBTQ+ Museum is a collaboration dedicated to preserving, researching, and sharing LGBTQ+ history and culture. We are in the early stages of developing a partnership with The New York Historical, and will create inaugural programming and exhibitions while incubating there.
